More than 500 verified Chinese exhibitors will showcase over 10,000 products at the 10th edition of China Homelife South Africa and Machinex, taking place from 23 – 25 September 2026 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Gauteng.

The three-day trade fair is set to connect South African and African importers, wholesalers, retailers, distributors, entrepreneurs and sourcing professionals directly with Chinese manufacturers across a diverse range of industries.

Running daily from 10:00 to 17:00 across three exhibition halls, the event will feature products and solutions covering building materials, household and consumer goods, machinery, textiles and garments, décor and furniture, energy solutions, food-processing equipment, cookware, beauty and personal care products, among other categories.

Organised by Meorient International Exhibition, China Homelife South Africa is designed to create direct opportunities for businesses to identify suppliers, compare products and explore potential commercial partnerships.

Binu Pillai, Chief Operating Officer of Meorient International Exhibition, says the exhibition provides a platform for manufacturers and buyers to engage directly and explore practical business opportunities.

For South African businesses, direct access to manufacturers can support product sourcing and business expansion. Entrepreneurs and retailers can explore new merchandise and potential suppliers, while industrial and manufacturing businesses can assess machinery, equipment and technologies that may support productivity and production capacity.

The Machinex component of the exhibition will place particular emphasis on machinery, equipment and manufacturing solutions, providing businesses with an opportunity to explore technologies relevant to their operations.

The event will also incorporate technology-enabled sourcing tools. Registered buyers can access supplier matches, browse digital product catalogues, communicate with suppliers and identify potential sourcing opportunities before and during the exhibition.

According to the organisers, participating exhibitors undergo a verification process before taking part, providing buyers with additional information when considering potential manufacturing and sourcing partners.

The 2026 edition marks the 10th China Homelife South Africa exhibition. Globally, the China Homelife brand has a 20-year history and has staged more than 100 exhibitions across more than 20 countries, creating platforms for manufacturers and buyers across international markets.

With South Africa serving as a key commercial gateway into the African market, the exhibition provides a meeting point for Chinese manufacturers seeking business opportunities and African companies exploring international sourcing, distribution and partnership possibilities.

Entry to China Homelife South Africa and Machinex 2026 is free for registered trade visitors. The exhibition will take place at Gallagher Convention Centre from 23–25 September, from 10:00 to 17:00 daily.
