China HomeLife and Machinex Mega Trade shows back in Africa

South Africa will host the 5th Southern African edition of the China Homelife and China Machinex Trade Fairs at the Johannesburg Expo Centre (Nasrec) from the 23rd to the 25th of September 2019. This year, the twin events will connect quality-approved Chinese manufacturers and suppliers to potential buyers from the region’s industrial, commercial, supply chain and procurement sectors.

Organised by exhibitions giant Meorient International Exhibition Co. Ltd, China Homelife and China Machinex has presence in twelve major cities across the world. These include Almaty, Amman, Cairo, Dubai, Istanbul, Johannesburg, Lagos, Mumbai, Sao Paulo, Mexico, Nairobi and Warsaw.

China Homelife together with China Machinex are the largest China exhibition events in the African continent. The South Africa edition of China Home Life provides a match-making opportunity for leading Chinese companies seeking to do business in Africa and African businesses seeking to import or do business with China. This year the event will focus on agriculture and food, building materials, consumer electronics, furniture, home appliances, textiles and garments, home products, gifts, lighting and lamps.

As a result of increasing visitor numbers, the show has moved to a much bigger venue, the Johannesburg Expo Centre. According to the Chief Operating Officer Binu Pillai, this move will see the show bringing a greater variety of products and machinery. “The Johannesburg Expo Centre was an obvious choice for us as we had always planned to grow the shows year on year and provide a comfortable experience to our visitors and exhibitors, besides it easily accessible with less traffic congestion” says Pillai.

China currently accounts for 10% of South Africa’s export market and the two events are expected to continue to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.

The shows seek to foster trade relationships between buyers and suppliers. Supply chain managers and entrepreneurs are encouraged to visit the event to explore growth opportunities and see newest global technologies.

For free entrance to the event, you can pre-register via www.chinahomelife.co.za. Doors open at 10am daily.
