In an era filled with technology designed to make our lives easier and allow for quicker access to news, it is important that a publication like Transform SA keeps up with the times and remains ahead of the curve. As such, we are proud to announce the arrival of the Transform SA App.
As part of growing the company’s presence in the social media sphere, Transform SA has created an App that will run on both iOS and Android devices. Launched on 1 April 2015, the app is available on iTunes and the Google Play Store for R26.25c.
Demonstrating its commitment to transforming the country, part of the first year proceeds made from sales of the Transform SA App will be donated to CSI projects that have been selected by the publication.
The app will relay Transform SA’s core goal of addressing issues that relate to economic and social transformation in Southern Africa. It will continue to share stories of transforming companies and entrepreneurs in South Africa. Similar to its quarterly magazine, the Transform SA App will continue to identify and celebrate individuals who are contributing largely to changing the status quo in SA and reaffirming to the masses that transformation is indeed a reality.
Saki Mabhele, publishing editor and CEO of Transform SA, expressed his excitement about the mobile app. “I believe this is a great chance for us to enter new markets. This app will give us a competitive advantage and will increase our market share in terms of readership,” he says. Mabhele also acknowledges the importance of using technology to reach a wider audience and make a difference in underprivileged communities. “We understand that it is essential for us to embrace new technologies in order for us to grow our company. We also see ourselves as a responsible corporate citizen, hence we want to use this platform to play our part in the advancement of local communities.”
