The City of Johannesburg Social Development Department will acknowledge 21 learners who have passed with distinctions tomorrow Wednesday 29 January.
The City’s Social Development Department has been providing support to orphans, vulnerable and children from child headed household since its inception in 2007. The support is through the provision of the basket of services that includes education, health, recreation, food and material programmes.
In 2013 the City of Johannesburg Social Development funded 21 learners through pay per service for an external service to coordinate the programme. They did matric through Wits Star School.
The ceremony to acknowledge the learners will take place as follows:
