Agang SA will on Wednesday 29 January lead a march by the communities of Waterberg, Limpopo, against illegal land seizures by mining companies; Mogalakwena Mine and Plat Reef Mine.
The affected villages are Magongoa, Mzombane, Mosesetshane and Tshamahansi. The communities are unhappy at the lack of consultation and respect by the companies.
The communities believe that the mining companies have been able to get away with stealing their lands because their shareholders include prominent ANC leaders. Their other grievances include lack of water and other basic amenities in the villages. The communities feel left out.
