Imizamo Media, the black female-led agency founded by Daisy Mulenga and Tlangelani Manzini, celebrates a decade of innovation, empowerment, and impact this November. As a writer who’s followed their journey, I feel both inspired and proud to share their story.
THE JOURNEY BEGINSIn 2014, Daisy and Tlangelani established Imizamo Media with a dream: to create a marketing agency that would deliver cutting-edge solutions while championing inclusivity. Today, their dream has grown into a powerhouse. They’ve mastered AI-driven campaigns that not only achieve results but also reshape what’s possible in marketing.

CELEBRATING THE FUTURE
Imizamo Media’s 10th-anniversary event, happening on 22 November at The Leonardo in Sandton, is more than a celebration, it’s a statement. It will feature a documentary about their journey, a panel discussion on AI’s role in media, and the launch of a mentorship programme aimed at equipping young women with digital skills.
“Our story has always been about breaking barriers and unlocking potential,” Tlangelani said. As I listened, I couldn’t help but think of how many lives they’ve already touched—and how many more they’re destined to impact.
