It is a written rule that only few start-ups graduate from the foundation stage to fully-fledged operations in the first two years after establishment. Otherwise, the rest die and are wiped from the business landscape. Yet South Africa’s economic growth pivots on the ability to nurture budding enterprises towards growth. Unquestionably, the SAB Foundation is just the thing in the present times the country is grappling with 44.4 percent unemployment.
The SAB Foundation is calling for entrepreneurs who are committed to boosting their growth and achieving new levels of success to apply for its Tholoana Enterprise Programme. This 18-month business support programme provides entrepreneurs with expert mentorship, skills development, access to markets and strategic financial support. This year, the SAB Foundation will recruit 40-60 entrepreneurs who are keen to learn, determined to take their business to the next level and who want to contribute to the economy.
Entrepreneurs on the programme receive extensive entrepreneurial skills development, mentorship and access to tools and templates. In addition, connection to a strong peer network, as well as access to markets and finance, help small business owners to achieve exceptional results and become sustainable.
