Pic-Zico The Black Business Council (BBC) held its elections late on Tuesday evening at PwC offices in Waterfall outside Johannesburg. This followed a long closed-door discussion which delayed the process. Zungu won the elections as the new President defeating his only opponent Gilbert Mosena.
The Black Business Council is the over-arching confederation that represents black professionals, business associations and chambers. The BBC has had internal challenges and was without a permanent president following the suspension of Danisa Baloyi.
The list of the newly elected office bearers is:
- President: Sandile Zungu
- VP Business: Keith Thabo
- VP Professionals: Nkuli Mogopa
- Secretary General: Judy Nokwedi
- Treasurer General: Bonolo Ramokhele
- Chairperson: Bridgette Radebe
- Head of Policy: Tilson Manyoni
