The Black Management Forum, the gate keeper of black professionals’ interests, has elected a new President and his Deputy.

Mncane Mthunzi succeeds Bonang Mohale as Black Management Forum’s President. A veteran in transformation matters, he has been active in the BMF for 21 years and has risen through the organisation’s ranks where he has served as chairperson of the Johannesburg branch‚ chairperson of BMF Gauteng‚ and later managing director of the BMF — a position he held for three years.

He is currently superstore executive at Massbuild. Before joining the Massbuild team‚ he was the supplier development executive at Massmart for over three years. He has also held positions as CEO of the Consumer Goods Council of SA and worked as a sales executive at Microsoft.

Dumisane Mpafa has been elected as deputy president of the organisation. He has also been a member of the BMF for close to 20 years‚ and has served as chairperson of the BMF in the Eastern Cape and has recently been chairing the policy and research committee of the BMF board. He is the founder and outgoing CEO at Beever Agency‚ a South African National Accreditation System-accredited BEE verification agency.

Mpafa has been in the BEE verification space for 10 years and is a former board member and deputy chairperson of the Association of BEE Verification Agencies. He has recently ventured into the green energy space‚ and is the South African CEO of international green energy solutions company SuperGreen Solutions. He is a Green Star-accredited professional and an energy auditor. Mpafa is an MBA graduate.
