Telkom CEO Sipho Maseko has been ordered by the Companies and Intelectual Property Commission to attend a corporate governance course within 90-days or face a R1 million fine or he will be refered to the National Prosecuting Authority for a criminal prosecution.
Maseko was told by regulators in to attend a director duties course in February after a loan awarded to the Telkom’s chief financial officer was judged to have breached corporate rules
