2013 NSC Examinations off to flawless start

Pictures 062The first day of the 2013 National Senior Certificate Examination went off without a hitch on the morning of Monday 28 October 2013 as Learners sat and wrote their first English Home Language and First Additional Language in the morning session and Music Theory paper 1 in the afternoon session.
With a total of 576 490 Full Time and 130 646 Part Time candidates registered for the NSC Examinations a seamless start to the administration if the 2013 examinations leaves the department confident of yet another year free of incident.
‘’I am happy to announce that reports coming in from all provinces indicate a good start, free of incidents or irregularities’’ said Basic Education Spokesperson Panyaza Lesufi.
On Tuesday 29 October 2013 will see learners sitting to write Accounting, Isizulu, Isindebele, Swati and IsiNdebele.
The department wishes to commend learners and examination administrators for assisting to ensure an incident free start to the 2013 NSC Examinations – ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BASIC EDUCATION
