Let’s assist you to Spring Clean Your Municipal Account

90% of queries resolved on the spot. This is the goal set by the City of Johannesburg’s Revenue Shared Services department as it prepares for its Region G open day at the Ennerdale, Lenasia and Eldorado Park Customer Service Centres this Saturday, the 7th of September 2013.

“We’re aware that many residents in Lenasia, Ennerdale and Eldorado Park have experienced municipal billing challenges and the open day affords us an opportunity to assist ratepayers to “spring-clean their accounts.” says city spokesperson, Kgamanyane Maphologela.

On the day, expert agents from City Power, Johannesburg Water, Rates and Taxes, Finance and more will be on hand to sort out all account related queries, with the hope of immediate resolution.

According to Kgamanyane, previous open days have delivered positive results, and the first-hand experience of speaking directly to aggrieve customers has given the City invaluable insights into customer expectations.

“We are also aware that these communities are very diverse, and that households have different social and financial circumstances. The event will therefore also focus on programmes such as the Expanded Social Package and the city’s Pensioner Rebates Pogramme, which offer vulnerable households some relief on their monthly municipal accounts.

The Open Day will take place between 09:00 and 15:00 at the following Customer Service Centers:

Eldorado Park Customer Service Centre
