Celebrating 20 years of a Democratic Parliament

Nomvula Mokonyana

Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane will on Monday 24 February 2014 at 10am deliver the State of the Province Address (SOPA) signalling the opening of the Legislature for the year.

In the build-up to the SOPA, Gauteng residents have been invited to offer their suggestions on what they think Premier Mokonyane should include in her SOPA.

Premier Mokonyane will deliver her sixth and final address of the current administration.

Residents have been asked to share their experiences of any service delivery achievements made by government that have changed their lives.

They can advise the Premier on how existing projects can be boosted to become even more successful, among other things.

Residents are encouraged to share their ideas with Premier Nomvula by sending their Notes for Nomvula to notes4nomvula@gauteng.gov.za.

This will enable them to take their suggestions from the living room to the Gauteng Legislature.

One lucky Gauteng resident who sends in his or her suggestion will be treated to a weekend stay at one of the best Gauteng hotels.

Residents can also join the Gauteng Provincial Government Facebook page and leave their notes for the premier on www.facebook.com/GPPremierOffice or follow the Gauteng Provincial Government on Twitter@GautengProvince and tweet Notes for Nomvula.

If residents would like to read the Gauteng Provincial Government’s views on issues of poverty, getting their careers started and more, they can visit the Gauteng Provincial Government’s website at www.gautengonline.gov.za

All inputs must be submitted by Saturday 22 February 2014.
